KARHU

Karhu is one of the oldest sneaker brands in the world, created in 1916 in Helsinki, Finland, long before the "Swoosh" brand. Its history is rich and deserves to be known: Karhu developed iconic models such as the Gazelle and its "Three Stripes", a concept it sold to Adidas in the 1950s. It was also the first brand to offer an air cushioning system, in 1970! Well before the advent of Nike Air in the 80s.  Karhu means "Bear" in Finnish and its logo "M" comes from the word "Mystery" which means "Champion" for the Finns.  Of course, they are not skateshoes. But they are perfect for after skate, chill out and go to parties.
